tree. You may take them back at the
end of the festivities.

Traditional Dishes
Fish and herring dishes, slizikai with
poppy seed milk, kisielius (cranberry
pudding), compote, salad, winter vegetable
dishes, mushrooms, potato dishes and
boiled and baked potatoes, sauerkraut
(without meat) and bread.
(Ask, and we will give you the recipes).

last name:
   A-L: Fish and herring dishes
   M-R: desserts
   S-Z: salad, vinaigrettes, bread  
The organizers will provide coffee, tea,
and non-alcoholic drinks. Beer and
wine will be available for purchase.

Everyone, please bring a Main Dish,
Dessert, and something to drink.
Note: K��ios traditions call for a
meatless meal. Please bring fish,
grain, fruit, or vegetable dishes.

Adult Choir
will sing Lithuanian Christmas carols.

Children�s Program
A short children�s play, �The White Wolf�,
will be followed by traditional children�s
talent presentation/performances for Santa.
First time attendees: prepare your child
to perform for Santa: recite a poem, sing
a song, play an instrument, or show their
talent in another way.

Santa will give presents to all children,
including to those who were too shy to
perform.

Parents: Please bring a gift for your child.
Put the gift a brown lunch bag with a bow
or other ornament on top. Write your child�s
first and last name on the bag legibly, so
that Santa can read it. Drop off your child�s
gift at the reception table to be placed in
Santa�s bag.

table to help defray the event�s
unavoidable expenses.

About Christmas Eve traditions.

LITS will provide coffee, iced tea, also
plates, cups, utensils, napkins, etc.
But everyone please bring to share a
meatless dish like soup, herring and fish
dishes, cabbage, vegetables, fruit/vegetable
salads, pastries, cakes, bread, and potato
dishes. A Long John Silvers plate is also
welcome. The traditional night before
Christmas was a fast day and could
not include meat.

Alcoholic beverages are not a part of
Christmas Eve Vigil.

You are encouraged to bring gifts for
Sister�s  Lithuanian Children�s Relief. 
Sister Helen Ivanauskas, President of LCR,
is having a �Sock and Underwear Harvest�
for orphans. All sizes items are needed.
No need to wrap. Thank you for your
generosity.
