July 1, 2008, LAC hosted a breakfast meeting at The Mayflower in Washington, DC, with leading members of Lithuania's government.

LAC, Inc. supported the democratic movement Sajudis and sponsored the first visit to the United States by the former President Vytautas Landsbergis soon after Lithuania declared independence.

LAC, Inc. was the initial organization backing the "U.S.-Baltic Charter of Partnership" between Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the United States signed by all four Presidents on January 16, 1998. Much effort was expended to support the expansion of NATO to include Lithuania.
