July 1, 2008, LAC hosted a breakfast meeting at The Mayflower in
Washington, DC, with leading members of Lithuania's government.

LAC, Inc. supported the democratic movement Sajudis and sponsored the
first visit to the United States by the former President Vytautas Landsbergis soon after
Lithuania declared independence.
Currently, the demilitarization of the Kalingrad territory and foreign aid
remain vital. Also, the emphasis continues on
supporting the development of Lithuania's democracy and economy.

backing the "U.S.-Baltic Charter of Partnership" between
Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and the United States signed by all
four Presidents on January 16, 1998. Much effort was expended to
support the expansion of NATO to include Lithuania. |
