The Lithuanian American Educational Council nurtures the Lithuanian heritage by supporting Lithuanian Saturday Schools, teachers, and students in the U.S.

The Lithuanian Educational Council:

- assists Saturday Schools with support from the Lithuanian Foundation
- organizes workshops and seminars for teachers of Lithuanian language and culture
- assists Saturday Schools with textbooks, curricula, and other educational materials
- honors publicly outstanding teachers of Lithuanian language and culture in the US.

American Professional Partnership for Lithuanian Education

For thirteen summers A.P.P.L.E. has offered a variety of seminars and workshops for teachers, administrators, librarians, social workers, special educators, parents, and others involved with the Lithuanian educational system.

Its goal is to help colleagues reform Lithuania’s educational infrastructure so that all citizens will have the skills they need to sustain democracy and promote freedom. http://www.applequest.org/
